Did you know that on this day in history Michigan became an official state in 1837?  Did you know that on this day in history Phantom of the Opera opened on Broadway in 1988? 

Today for Computers:
1.  Take the Unit 4 Week 2 Treasures Test.  LETS GET MORE DONUTS!!  You can do it.
NO TALKING!

2.  Go to this SITE and read the article about the Tree Move in Provo.  I just want you to read the article.  It is pretty cool what happened.

3.  Read the article on this SITE.  The article has pictures, and under each picture there is a description.  Read everything.  On lined paper tell me 5 things you learned from the article.

4.  Play ANIMAL JAM on this SITE until 11:00.

5.  For the last 15 minutes of computers you may play any of the games in the "Game" section.

I called him "Buddy" and I still call him "Buddy" today.  He is the best brother!

HELLO EVERYONE! 
Today in computers you need to complete the following:

1.  Unit 3 Week 5 TREASURES test. 
PLEASE take your time.  Last week we didn't do so well on our test and I think it is because you were RUSHING!  Please make sure you READ the WHOLE story and answer ALL the questions.

2.  Look Through the following pictures HERE and then VOTE for which "ICE SCULPTURE" you like the most in the poll on the right side of the blog page.

3.  Play the games on National Geographic HERE.

4.  At 11:35 you may continue to play the National Geographic games, or any of the games in the GAMES section.

Assignments for today:

2.  Read the news article HERE and then on lined paper write me THREE or MORE sentences about what the news article was about.  Hand your paper into Mrs. Strong with your name on it when you are done.  This will be a grade, show neatness and GREAT effort.

4.  Using the GAME tab - you may play any of the games listed on that page.  I will add more games as the year goes on, but for now you may ONLY play those.
