Today is the first day of 3rd term SEP conferences.
Mrs. Wilson and I are looking forward to talking to you and your parents.  We hope that you come with some goals in mind for the rest of the school year.

1.  Take the TREASURES Unit 6 Week 1 test.  Please take your time.  And remember that the writing section needs to be in complete sentences, with correct punctuation to receive full credit.  


2.  Go to the "GAMES" section of this blog and select a game you would like to play.

For the rest of the school year you are going to be taking your TREASURES tests with Mrs. Wilson.  She is going to have you come to this web-page each Wednesday and you will need to complete the work that is listed.

Did you know that?
TODAY IN HISTORY: (February 9th, 1971) The San Fernando earthquake ( 6.6 ) at 6:00 AM ruptures a segment of the San Fernando fault zone, causing the loss of life of 65 , the worst loss of life was at the at the Veterans Administration Hospital in San Fernando, where 49 people died. The damage caused by the quake was estimated at 1/2 billion dollars due to damage to buildings, bridges and major freeways including Interstate 5.

Did you know that on this day in history Michigan became an official state in 1837?  Did you know that on this day in history Phantom of the Opera opened on Broadway in 1988? 

Today for Computers:
1.  Take the Unit 4 Week 2 Treasures Test.  LETS GET MORE DONUTS!!  You can do it.

2.  Go to this SITE and read the article about the Tree Move in Provo.  I just want you to read the article.  It is pretty cool what happened.

3.  Read the article on this SITE.  The article has pictures, and under each picture there is a description.  Read everything.  On lined paper tell me 5 things you learned from the article.

4.  Play ANIMAL JAM on this SITE until 11:00.

5.  For the last 15 minutes of computers you may play any of the games in the "Game" section.

This is a picture from 1985.  My brother, Brandon, was born on June 3rd, 1985.
I called him "Buddy" and I still call him "Buddy" today.  He is the best brother! 
That is my mom, and then the little girl is me!
